Sam had decided that laying low would be a good idea; after all, he'd already attracted the unwanted attention of his big brother and the last thing he needed was more than one hunter on his tail. He wasn't a bad person, not really. He was just still pissed off at his brother for selling his soul but hey, Sam had given up his humanity so he guessed they were equal.
Letting himself swing back and forth slightly, long fingers wrapped round the chain as two black eyes scanned the darkness in a bid to make sure no-one was watching him. When he'd determined that he was alone, he quietly went back to brooding - an act he was becoming slowly better at. He was like that vampire in that television programme Dean used to watch, Angel or whatever his name was. He brooded all the time all 'oh my god I can't have sex or I'll go all evil like'. It was pathetic really.
Groaning, he felt his pocket vibrate; eyebrows arching as he fished his cell out and glanced at caller id. "Bobby?" he muttered, answering it only to hear a severely miffed older man on the other end. His voice was so shrill Sam had to hang up in the end to save his poor head.

Gracie sighed as she sat in the passenger side of Dean's car, looking into the mirror and fixing a curl that fell out of place. They have been trying to trail Sam soon after he ran away and she felt somewhat sorry for the human brothers. They had so much love for each other...but not all humans were like them...a lot were mean and down right rude, she knows first hand. So why were this two so different from the others? As she started to think on that her bright blue eyes looked up at the restroom where Dean had entered a few seconds ago to take a piss break. She then thought to herself, “What is piss?” She shrugged it off but made no point in asking because she didn’t want her cover to be blown because of her and her lack of understanding the human ways. She was doing pretty well at catching on and she had learned a lot of the other demons working for them but she just couldn’t bring herself to tell them she was demon.
With another sigh she pushed up the mirror and looked over, hoping to see Dean walking back to the car but alas he was still taking a ‘piss’. As she waited she leaned back against her seat and began to look around, taking in her surrounding. Even though it was pitch black how she could see clear as day, thanks to her cat like senses. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary but they were hot on Sam trail so they needed to keep a sharp eye out. She returned her gaze to the dashboard of the car and rested against the seat, beginning to play with her fingernails. What was taking Dean so long with his piss? Gracie fixed her white t-shirt that rode up slightly and pulled down slightly at her boot cut blue jeans. They were in the hot car all day today and she just wanted to do was take a nice long shower and to get in a bed and sleep. Just then she heard a heard a familiar voice that barely reached her ears…it was Sam, he was here.
She thought quickly as she pulled out a napkin that was left over from their snack at 7-11 and a pen from the glove compartment. She wrote that she was out searching the area because she thought she saw Dean and sat it on his seat before pushing open her door. She quickly closed it behind her before turning to begin on her search, getting close to the motel room walls and trying it listen inside. A lot of people were asleep but in most she could only hear the TV. As she listened she reached beside her and felt for her pistol that was hanging at her hip, unfastening the strap that held it in the case. She just wanted to be safe, Sam was rather moody now and it isn’t like she needed the gun but she was playing human remember. Finally she came to a door and sniffled slightly, it was Sam but his scent was slightly tainted with darkness. The thought caused her to flinch slightly but she allowed her hand to reach up and knocked softly on the door. She would give him a minute to answer the door or she would have to bust it down. ”Sam…” Her voice sweet but she knew he might run so she got ready to kick at the door.
